Lock the phone to this app on stage (Guided Access)

Keeps the screen on, blocks stray taps on the side button, and stops swipes out of the app. Set up once:

  1. iPhone Settings → Accessibility → Guided Access, turn it on.
  2. Passcode Settings → Set Guided Access Passcode (Face ID can end it too).
  3. Display Auto-Lock → Never. This is what keeps the screen awake.
  4. Make sure Accessibility Shortcut is on (same screen), so triple-click starts it.

Each gig:

  1. Open Metro-Gnome, then triple-click the side button (Home button on older phones).
  2. Optional: tap Options and turn off Side Button so a bump can't lock the phone.
  3. Tap Start.
  4. To end: triple-click again, enter the passcode, tap End.

Sync across devices

Keeps your songs and set lists in a private GitHub Gist. On each device: create a token with only the gist scope (pick an expiration you're comfortable with), then paste it here. Every device using the same GitHub account finds the same gist automatically.
